Montepulciano – the Italian Wine Celebrity
As a symbol of Montepulciano, perhaps the most renowned grape variety of Abruzzo, we’ve selected the Capestrano warrior – a statue dating back to the ancient people of this region. It was curiously found during vineyard excavation work and now resides in the Chieti Museum.
