Wine from Veneto: delicacies at producer prices
Veneto, famous for its capital Venice, offers much more than its iconic city. This northeastern Italian region, stretching from the Dolomites to the Adriatic Sea, is a haven of diverse experiences, including its celebrated Veneto wine.
As varied as the tourist attractions in Veneto are the region’s wines. Discover these wines from Veneto with us and bring the Italian holiday vibe to your customers’ everyday lives.
From Amarone to Prosecco
Veneto may not be primarily known for viticulture, but it houses some of Italy’s most renowned wine-growing areas. The Italian specialties from these regions are essential for reputable bars and specialist retailers.
We offer a variety of Wines from Veneto, including selections from Bennati Wein‘s basic lines, the premium offerings from the Bennati Premium winery, and Perini, famed for its sparkling Proseccos.
Red Wine from Veneto
Veneto is the origin of some of Italy’s finest red wines, unique in their production methods. In the esteemed Valpolicella region, you’ll find not only excellent classic reds but also the Italian specialty Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG.
Amarone’s uniqueness lies in its appassimento process (as it’s known in Italian), where harvested grapes are well-ventilated and dried for 2-3 months, resulting in a concentrated must. Which contains a lot of sugar and results in naturally strong, fruity, and spicy aromas.
Ripasso Valpolicella, like our bestseller Ripasso Valpolicella Superiore DOC – La Mora, known as “Baby Amarone”, is another exceptional wine. It’s crafted by fermenting standard Valpolicella wine with Amarone pomace, producing an intense, strongly structured wine whose aromatic density lies between Amarone and traditional Valpolicella. It is a good recommendation for customers who want something special but for whom the Amarone is too expensive.
Our Rosso Veronese IGT – Ireos is also a bestseller, offering excellent value for quality. Perfect with beef, lamb, mushrooms, and medium-strength cheese, it’s an ideal upscale everyday wine in specialist shops.
Generally, Veneto red wines are round, full-bodied, and enjoyable with food or in good company.
Sparkling Wine and White Wine from Veneto
The trio of Veneto, wine, and Soave are inseparable. Soave’s floral, fragrant, and sweet notes have made it a hit. The Soave Classico DOC – Libet from Bennati, made with 100% Garganega grapes, offers a sip of traditional Italy full of character.
Lugana, from the Trebbiano grape, Custoza, and Pinot Grigio are also popular and often enjoyed in bars. Veneto is also the prime region for Prosecco production, like the Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry millesimato DOCG – Confraternita.
A special treat is the Recioto di Soave Spumante DOCG – 1870, a sweet Soave perfect with desserts, mature cheese, and pastries. This wine in an upscale bar, for customers, is the perfect accompaniment to the end of a good meal. This creamy wine, with fruity peach and dried fruit aromas, elevates upscale celebrations.
Our wines from Veneto are essential for every Italian specialty retailer and quality bar. For advice or to place your order, fill out our contact form, and we’ll get in touch with you as soon as possible.
