The “Valle dei Laghi”
Located between Lake Garda and the majestic Dolomites, the ‘Valle dei Laghi’ (Valley of the Lakes) is characterised by a unique microclimate, where Mediterranean warmth meets mountain coolness. A magical place that we recommend you visit on your next distillery tour!
Linguistic note:
The word ‘Vermut’, or ‘Vermouth’ in French or ‘vermòt’ in Piedmontese, probably derives from the German word ‘Wermut’ indicating artemisia maggiore or wormwood, the plant most commonly used in the production of this aromatised fortified wine.
